“Since the original SUPER SOAKER product was launched in 1989, we’re always looking for innovative ways to enhance the consumer’s experience,” explains Kevin Fortey, Marketing, Hasbro, Inc. “The SOAKERTAG body targets add an exciting and challenging new element to water fights. In traditional water battles, everyone gets wet but no one wins. Now the SOAKERTAG concept lets you determine who won the water fight.”

Measuring 2” x 2” in size, players can either apply the SOAKERTAG body targets directly to their skin or they can be clipped onto a sleeve or waistband. Tags can also be set up as targets on any smooth surface.

Dissolvo worked closely with Hasbro to develop the SOAKERTAG concept, construction and play.

“Adding the SOAKERTAG body targets has allowed us to create a new play pattern for the SUPER SOAKER product line,” summarizes Fortey. “The relatively small size of the targets makes competitions challenging, and extends the time kids will use their SUPER SOAKER blasters. We also expect the structured play concept to bring ‘older kids’ back to using SUPER SOAKER blasters. We’re confident SOAKERTAG will be a successful way to generate renewed interest in all of our SUPER SOAKER models.”
